Assumptions : We have some Idea on how much data he has and the applications he plans to switch and whether he is planning to shift partially or fully. We also know some of the pain points that is causing him to switch . Some of the questions that might be bugging him and which he might need to know before he agrees to switchi might include

3.     Overall techstack of google cloud

4.     Usage analytics over cloud – our DC footprint, our customer spread across the world, Goverance and health scorecards etc. Additional metrics on how efficiently our VMs operate. Capacity, latency, throughput, Reliability etc.

5.     The complete E2E strategy of how we can help them migrate. How easy/complicated the migration would be, timelines, cost, resource plan and migration roadmap. It is essential to understand what type of migration strategy will we concentrate on – Rehost, Retire, Replatform, Refactor etc.

6.     Risks during cloud migration and how we intend to mitigate them

7.     Overall our Governance policies, Data Security policies during migration

8.     Our support policies, overall response time
