feature to allow Amazon shoppers to upload video for product reviews
-Goal - Review Engagement? authenticity?
- customer segments (Submitter, Reader)
1) power users -often buy and review products
2) casual users - only submit a review when they have occasional but check and read reviews
3) Ocassional/laggards - don't post, occasionally read reviews
customer journey (power users) painpoints
- low motivation to review (Casual)
- painful to type and add content and articulate review ( power)
- reader --hard to find relevant/authentic reviews quickly
Let's priortize "power user motivated to submit reviews" dues to its impact on reader's issue as well
Design consideration
1) should be easy to use feature (easy record and submit/update)
2) feature should be easily discoverable
3) should take care of PII ( blurr faces?) --who is responsible for PII amazon?
4) should be able to update the video easily in future as well as delete it)
5) User's profile should list review videos, views, likes/dislikes/comments --ability to eidt/delete
6) reward power reviewers ( establish and encourage the branding of good reviewers through badges etc)
7) Helps reviewers --with coaching on how to review , what all information to cover etc best practices for high success
