How would you measure the performance and health of a Netflix Original?

As far as my understanding goes, Netflix Originals is that content which is produced by Netflix themselves.

Clarifying Questions 

1) What do you mean by Netflix original? do you mean the feature in general or any specific original?  Netflix originals in general

2) What do you mean performance and health? is it all about how it is been doing vs other content?  Yes

3) What is the goal? You can figure that out by your understanding 

Goal :  The main goal of having Netflix Originals to introduce engaging high quality content and increase user viewing time.

User Journey : 

1) User opens Netflix

2)Browses for Content

3) Checks out trailers

4) User starts playing content

5) User stops playing and starts browsing again. 

Alternate User journey on app / web would be User chooses to receive a notification when show / movie releases and clicks on notification and starts playing the show when it is available on Netflix.

Metrics

Usage 

1) Netflix originals watched per day / per week / per month 

2) Average viewing time per day contributed by Netflix originals 

3) average % show viewed per watch for any Original 

Performance 

4) Number of Daily Netflix user sessions where atleast one Netflix original was played.  

5)Average time spent in top 10 by any original which features in top 10

6) Average time spent on highest position (say # 1)  by any Netflix originals 

7) Average number of views in first 10 weeks of release for any Netflix original

8) Average lifetime views for any Netflix original 

Viewership Growth

9) average % increase in Netflix daily/weekly /monthly user viewing time after exposure to any of the Netflix Originals 

10) number of users who watched more than one NF original in a week  

Awareness

Number of users who chose to be reminded when a NF original released. 

Average Number of reminders set for any Netflix original 

Number of people who watched after being reminded about a netflix original 

Important Metrics

Average viewing time per day contributed by Netflix originals 

average % increase in Netflix daily/weekly /monthly user viewing time after exposure to any of the Netflix Originals 

average % show viewed per watch for any Original 

I have chosen these three as these metrics will contribute the most to the main goal.
