- are we building this on behalf of a medical entity/ government body? (initiative of government of India)

Goal:
The goal of this product is to enable government to track the health of their employees. To create a repository of health data and accordingly each employee will be able to track their health statistics and also see what are the benefits that the government is allocating to them.
As this is a new product, we are looking to solve for adoption & engagement

For the purpose of this exercise I will be prioritising the second and third user segment because this segment is more likely to suffer from ailments and is more likely to find a big usecase from our product.
Painpoints:
- are not very tech savvy
- their health insurances, GPF, other government benefits, pension data etc. is not digitised (CGHS card etc.) so they struggle with finding the documents when needed.
- cannot book medical appointments online from government hospitals.
- are not very medically aware / tend to ignore any medical ailments they might be suffering from
- cannot collate their medical reports in one place

Aadhar cards are omnipresent in India, specially for government employees. We will create a login via the aadhar card of the retired govt employee and for parents (with the aadhar card of the serving employee). They can also use the mobile number that has been linked to the aadhar card for easy access. We will define all onboarding flows like
- auto capturing OTP
- Linking & auto-fetching the user’s government data (for eg. where are they serving, current salary/ pension structure, GPF, medical insurance claims they have, money in their NPS account, PPF & Fixed deposit data)
- create multiple profiles for ( spouse, parents etc.)

Auto-capturing the user’s location and fetching a list of government dispensaries, hospitals within their city (vicinity of 20 km)
There would be a listing page / catalog page with the hospitals available. There will be many filters as well where a user can list the available clinics on the basis of ailments name, medical department / specialities etc.
Once the user will select a hospital, another page would open up where we would show them the hospital description, departments available etc. They can select a department for eg. cardiology. They would see a listing of all doctors that are available within this department along with their speciality, patient reviews and fees etc. The user can select a doctor, select date and time and book a slot. They will pay online via different payment modes like UPI, cards, EMI, etc. They can also choose to claim it within their insurance from within the app itself.

A repository where they can find all their past consultations details, test reports (ultrasound, X-ray, blood tests etc.) that they have availed previously.
We will provide the user the option to link this data from any entity whether private or government. This data would be fetched if the user has linked his/ her aadhar details to the test reports. Any previous consultations / reports booked via the app would also automatically be fetched

This would solve for those users that don’t know what ailment they are suffering from. This AI tool within the app would be voice operated. It would use the following things:
- user’s location
- climate
- user’s past data from feature 2
- and user’s symptoms inputted via audio speech
It would give the user’s suggestion as to which hospital they should visit, what might they be suffering from and recommend doctors / departments.

Reminder notification system where the users would be reminded about their upcoming health checkups, to remind them that they need a checkup soon, it has been 6 months since their last checkup, it would also send them health reminders like:
Get your blood sugar tested, your HB1AC was 7.2 last time you checked etc.
This engine would use patient historical data to send targeted push notifications.
Tradeoffs:
- not everyone links aadhar card to their health checkups
- tough to find booking slots for government hospitals in India (might not be that impactful)
- difficult to onboard senior citizens on a tech product like this, they might not adapt
- AI in-house doctor: might cause panic, false alarms by telling users that they might be suffering from a disease when they aren’t.
Success Metrics:
- DAU & MAU (north star metric)
- Long term retention rates: D90, D180, D365 etc.
- CTR of medical notifications and engagement with these
- WAU of in-house AI specialist (closely monitor any customer raised flags for this feature)
- No. of appointments booked via the app (location specific, hospital wise etc.) (track weekly)
