I will answer this using STAR method
Magic values that I like- Customer focus. I always believe that we should know your customers and their needs and that becomes driving force behind prp the business that we operate in including the customer, competitors, business goals and supply/demand dynamics
E.g
Situation- I was responsible a launching a flagship news app in 2014
Tasks- I had to conduct product ideation, user group analysis, feature prioritization
Action- During the process of feature prioritization, I spent lot of time with my customers understanding their needs and using it as a guideline in the product ideation decisions
Results- The app downloads shot to 500,000 just after the launch and to 21 Mn over a period of 18 months with an app rating of 4+
Magic values that I mind find challenging to adjust to: Don't settle.
I would need to understand more context on this value. I am a firm beleiver of prioriting excellence over perfection. Perfectionism is about the fear of failure, while striving for excellence is the urge for success. Excellence is superior performance, persistence, and the commitment to do something exceptionally well. Hence if this value meant not settling over excellence, we are sync. If it means perfection, probably this is an area where we all need to work together to refine the meaning and imbibe the sense of excellence amognst all Twilio employees
