We will use the STAR approach

Situation- We were asked to create an App for customers visiting an entertainment park e.g. Kings Island

Task- Understand user group ,user paint points, prioritize pain points

Action- 

(a) I  went to the Park over a week to just watch the customers in the Park.

I watched how as they entered the park, dispersed inside it, stood in line for rides, looked around for water fountains,  first aid, shade and visited resturants. 

I spoke to some of the park patrons, analyzed metrics of patrons using the Park services and read books on consumer behavior

Results- I was able to come up with customer pain points that needed to be addressed by the app

1) Signing up for internet access

2) Tracking their location in the Park

3) Location of water foundations

4) Making recommendation on reasonably priced food

5) First Aid, rest areas etc.

These pain points were later addressed as features in the app using a prioritization based approach
