This product would drive data centric intelligence to improve experience for users in the shower/bathroom area
Step 1: Current state- Very few competitors if at all, limited to automated shower temperature management and water flow control
Step 2: Product vision- Develop a product that enhances customer experience in other mundance process of having a shower
Step 3: Near Term Goal- Leverage data and sensors to enhance experiences of having a shower
Step 4: Long Term Goal- Reduce pain associated with the most common of day to day task of having a shower for elderly people and people with disabilities
Step 5: Metrics-
Customer aquistion metrics - Number of customers who signed up for showers every day or week
Engagement metrics
a) Duration of time users are spending in a shower
b) Duration of time water was flowing
c) Other activities conducted viz. listening to music , mood lighting etc.
d) Time in the day when the shower was used
e) Who used the shower in the family and when
f) # of times with the shower temperate was changed while using the shower
g) # of instructions made to the shower during taking the shower.
h) Any other type of interactions e.g. controlling shower from the phone etc.
Step 6: Identify user group:
1) Families with no children (married adults <60 years of age)
2) Families with children (married adults <60 years of age)
3) Families with adults >60 years of age
4) Families with individuals having disability

2) Intelligent water flow control for more water at the beginning, less in the middle and again
3) Control temperate at the start of the shower to avoid remnants of hot water on a new user(needed for kids)
4) Water detection sensors to identify water fallen on the floor and send alarm on the phone or when the user enters the bathroom(after kids shower)
5) Automated suction of water in tub with cleaning mechanism
Step 10- Prioritization of solution
Priority 1- High impact, low-medium implementation cost
1) Create profiles by user to remember water temperate
2) Intelligent water flow control for more water at the beginning, less in the middle and again
3) Control temperate at the start of the shower to avoid remnants of hot water on a new user(needed for kids)
Priority 2- Medium impact, medium implementation cost
4) Water detection sensors to identify water fallen on the floor and send alarm on the phone or when the user enters the bathroom(after kids shower) -- since the water would fall in tub or shower area
5) Automated suction of water in tub with cleaning mechanism-->Users can manage without this since even today there is no automated cleaning mechanism
