Tell me of a specific time when you had to make prioritization decisions.

Situation- I was once asked to design an App for visitors partronizing a theme Park

Task- The business team wanted me to define and prioritize features that can lead to monetization e.g. sell expensive packages for front of the line rides,  invite them to try expensive restaurants etc.

Action- I spent a week talking to customers inside the Park understanding their needs which very quite different from what we expected e.g, rest areas, water fountains, low cost food options,  first aid support etc. This helped me to empathize with customer needs and provide priority to these user specific needs along with monetization objectives from business

Result- The App was well liked by Park users,  the engagement with the App went up and this also led to achievement of monetization objectives of the business team.
