This answer is going to be brief commetns based on live mock with Satish.
Specifically, this AMZN Pharmacy is prob going to be focused more on Specialty medication.
North Star:
1) Adopting other pharmacy customers to AMZN Pharmacy.
2)Converting existing AMZN customers to AMZN pharmacy.
3) Adopting partnership with healthcare providers.
Metrics:
1) # of net new customers to Amazon due to pharmacy / daily
2) conversion: % of existing Amazon customers shopping from A Pharm > x% (based on similar expriece from before of starting a new biz or based on some research on what an expected % should when some other) / week
3) # of net new hospitals / doctors partnered w/ APharm (/ week)
4) # of days/hours it takes for AMZN to deliver (sense says it should be less than 4-6 hours would likely be great but this # can't be determined without much research) / daily
5) % of inaccurate orders / day
Primary metrics:
While I don't think we should just looked at 1 metric to determine success, I do think that #1 most important thing to consider is % of inaccurate orders. This could be so big that could result in a huge buziness risk for Amazon, amazon paying for letigations, etc. or could be bad press and frustrated customer experience that could kill just Amazon Pharm or make it a hard adoption / conversaion journey for Amazon. Next thing to also look at is # of new csutomers onto APharm (combo of net new to Amzn and also exiting customers of Amzn but onboarding to adopting APharm).
