How do you deal with engineering challenges at your current job?

Avoid engineering challenges by

1) Involve the development team from start of product development lifecycle e.g. product vision, blue printing, ideation etc.

2) While prioritizing product features also take technical manifestation into consideration

3) Consider implementation complexity and cost in all product decisions

Address enginering challenges

1) Identify the strategic imperatives with the delay e.g. no launch, partial launch,  some features hived off, launch in few regions etc.

2) Compare the strategic imperatives against the short and long term goals and come up with strategic choices

3) Prioritize the strategic choices against outcomes e.g. risk of competition, revenue impact, liability, monetization etc.

4) Share the prioritized strategic choices and details with the business team for a decision
