What was High School like for you?

High School seems like a necessary evil, a step between childhood  and adulthood with the freedom of college. I did well in high school though there are few things that I could have done to make my high school experience more fun, more manageable and more benefecial like

1) Stretching my brain- Take a class that scares you. Dont let preconceptions from the class or the teacher sway you from the class

2) Dont sweat about your grades too much- Its not the end of the world. I have avoided difficult classes just because it might affect my grades

3) Ask for help. Forge relationship with teachers and guidance counselors

4) Find your own de-stress routine

5) Do something good- volunteer

6) Dont focus on too much popularity

7) Accept that you might be rejected
