In everyone's job, there are wow moments which keep you motivated and passionate and push you to achieve more. Those moments for me are:

- When I find an initiative which can make a difference to a user at a bigger scale - either an opportunity or a pain point

- When I see the outcome of the feature being used by a customer and the metrics rising as expected and more.

- Lastly, discovering unique perspectives while collaborating with different stakeholders.

To summarize, finding a key initiative during user discovery, making an impact on a bigger scale, and connecting with cross-functional stakeholders excites me the most.

For example: While discovering one of the initiatives for a learning platform, I found that the users didn't have a way to connect. Managers and L&D were guiding them in learning. Collaborating with CSMs and Sales also helped me to know about market trends and the quickest way to validate my hypothesis. To validate, I launched a feature to follow and collaborate on creating a playlist of content, which was a big hit. In fact, managers were also using it to collaborate with their teams. And user engagement for self-learning increased by 10%.

A few things that excite me about Product Management are
1. Solving problems - I always liked solving puzzles and problems since I was a kid.
2. Talking to customers

3. Bringing value to the organization and customers and moving the needle

Amazon is famous for asking mostly behavioral questions.  I would classify this as a behavioral question.  In general, behavioral questions can be answered with the STAR format.  Situation, Task, Action, Results.

Your answer would not get you past me in a 1st round interview.  You can lay out the criteria like you did but then I need some meat on the bone.  I like PM because

1.        I enjoy solving problems

2.       Talking to customers

3.       when you solve problems for customers and develop products based on that you can really move the needle for the company

Let me give you an example…  and then you use the STAR format to tell a story that validates or shows how you use your criteria to be a PM.
