An airport closed down for a day due to inclement weather. How long does it take to get caught up?

Do we have any idea on which airport we are talking about? Can I pick an airport? Banglore.

When we say shut down for a day: Completely shut down. 0 flights. 

Interested only in commercial, pvt, military?

Formulae:  Total pileup/(no of runnway * 24*60*/ Acceptable wait time b/w 2 flights at the runway)

On a normal day:

Bangalore Airport currently Handles ~750 flights a day Bangalore airport has 2 runnways

Per hours: 750/24 = ~30flight / hour capacity 

2 runaways: 15 flights per runnway per hour.  = 60min/15 = 4 mins between each flights.

Let’s say acceptable gap is 2 mins between each flight. 

Every hour: 60 flights per hour clear. 
Beginning of the day: (750 flights waiting + 30 coming in every hours - 60) = 720 after an hour.
Meaning : Clearing 30 flights every hour, 750/30 = 25 hours.
