Comprehend the Situation:
To make sure my understandings, We are building an application (I am taking Mobile app here) which collects information from the human body using a recently built device by google. Here we need to understand the capabilities of the device. Let's assume it is a wearable device which can collect all the details same as the modern laboratory 24/7. We also need to know the price of the device to identify a better user group. Let's assume it will be around 50k INR (USD 700).
User Personas:
- Older people: Raju is 68-yrs old, retired college professor who lives with his wife in Mumbai and receives 80000 per month as pension. He has many health issues like diabetes, Blood Pressure, Heart disease etc.
- Pregnant Women: Ramya, 26-yrs old, Team Lead who is pregnant for 3 months, lives in Bengaluru and receives 100000 per month as salary.
- Bedridden Patient: Ram, a paralyzed person for 5 years, lives in Pune with his family with limited family income (family income between 50k to 1L INR).
Spending Power | Interest | Acquisition Cost | Userbase | |
Older people | High | Medium | High | High |
Pregnant Women | High | High | Low to Medium | Medium to High |
Bedridden Patient | Medium | High | Medium to High | Low |
Based on the above table, we can choose pregnant women as our Target Group.
- Collect the mother's health condition: During the pregnancy period, it's essential for the women's stay as healthy as possible. So the device need to collect all the basic health details like the pulse rate, Blood pressure level, cholesterol level, BMI, Water level in the body, sleeping pattern etc.,
- Notification of threshold limit: Based on the collected information, the application needs to provide periodic notifications based on levels (Yellow, Amber, Red). Yellow is like slightly more than the permittable level, and If the user crosses the limit, we sent notification to users(in-app, mail, SMS).
- Amber is more severe than Yellow, and the notification will be sent to their dependencies
- Red means danger, then the notification will be sent to their doctors and the nearby emergency team as well.
- Collect the Child's health condition: Apart from mother's health monitor, the device should also monitor the children's health conditions like growth rate, condition etc.,
- Auto Recommendations: Based on the mother and children's data, the app provides recommendations for medicine, food, water intake, rest pattern, other activities like music, exercise etc.,
- As a next step, It can automatically order items from online platforms.
