You are the PM for express delivery for an online pharmacy. What will you do before launching it in a new city?

Step 1 : Clarifications qns:

1) Does the company have regulatory approval to start in that city

2) Do they have an existing store presence/grocery selling business

3) Is it general pharmacy, specialized pharmacy

4) Do they have existing customer data for that city or any tie with doctors

Step 2: Goal- Create awareness, acquisition and activation for in the city for my online pharmacy

Secondary goals- Distribution, Credibility, awareness of service

Step 3: Strategy

Distribution- Partnership with Amazon Prime, UPS or UBER

Marketing- Radio ads, local  docs offices, mom and pop stores, Auto Service Center, local TV channels, Flyer coupons in newspapers, sponsorship in local events

Unique Proposition- Generic bulk purchase + retail purchases in day to day satchets

Integrates with major couponing agencies like GoodRX

Metrics to be captured: App downloads,  App sign ins,  Awareness sources(docs office, flyers etc.), Engagement- Type of orders(OTC, Specialized, Sports medicine), Size of orders

Step 4: Implementation Plan:

Pre launch: Mailer offering Code for $20 worth of free meds, social media ads, booths in malls.

Metrics- Searches and CTR for my website from that city

Launch: Radio Ad Blast, TV ads,  Large Balloons,  Event in downtown

Metrics- App downloads and activitation

Post Launch-  Track order patterns using Engagement- Type of orders(OTC, Specialized, Sports medicine), Size of orders, # delivery duration to optimize delivery time, catalogue of goods solds, free helpline for qns and optimizing marketing spend across channels

Step 5: Summarize the response
