This is an interview question, with a few sub-questions I was able to get after asking them: How would you determine the roadmap for a product? (Assume any product and any feature). What are the key criteria's/aspects you will consider to create this road map? How much weight will your roadmap have for user-driven features?

To begin addressing this PM product strategy interview question, it is important to understand the problem statement and the desired expectations by asking questions and sharing our understanding with the interviewer. I would focus on structuring my approach in a step-by-step method,
Step1: We would create a vision that is customer-centric, always focus on the needs of the customer and how the product will benefit from them or solve a specific problem. This is essentially the WHY for the product
Step 2: Collate inputs from key stakeholders and experienced members of the organization.
Step 3: Create the strategic themes and objectives of the product and determine the specific features required. These will be set in conjunction with the customer requirements we had identified in step 1.
Step 4: Determine the product teams needed. This may include the product creation team, a marketing team, the front end team, the back end team, and also an analytics team, etc.
Step 5: Set the timeline for product completion and brief the teams on what we need to achieve and how we are going to do it
Step 6: Allocate resources and provide support to all team members during the creation stage.
Step 7: Complete product testing, product launch, and effective marketing.
