I will keep in mind Meta's mission : To give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
Clarifying Question :
1. Objective of the product & how does it align with the mission of Meta
2. Will it be part of an existing Meta offering or we will launch a new product itself ?
3. Mobile or web ?
4. Are we targeting any specific geography celebrity engagement ?
5. Are there any existing competitors to look for in the market ?
Than I would try and gain clarity around the product :
What is meant by celebrity engagement ?
- Does it mean that common people can interact with celebrities over an app (lets say ) through exclusive video calls, chat, live stream, etc.
- How would Meta earn from this product ?
- Users of the product would be two-fold : Consumers & Celebrity
- Are we also bringing any third party who would onboard & manage celebrity account on the platform ?
- What kind of content will be expected from the celebrity ? Is it just a meet & greet with consumers or are we extending the product offering beyond that ?
Once we have answers to the above questions, we will try and understand the user's need
Core User Needs -
- To interact and meet their favorite celebrity
- To know more about their celebrity - day to day life
- To keep themselves updated about celebrity activities
Keeping these user needs in mind, we will work on the solutions & also define a GTM strategy for the product
Solution -
To build a platform to keep customers updated about their celeb life, their whereabouts, their upcoming shows, etc. & also give a chance to meet & greet.
Since it is a new product launch, there will be priortization based on value vs effort. We would like to focus on onboarding & activation of the users
GTM Strategy
Pre & During Launch - We will promote the launch of the app on different meta platforms
Onboard celebs on the platform
Define the monetization strategy
Build & test the MVP of the product
Post launch - We will measure success metrics post the launch and try to achieve the product market fit
Output Success Metrics :
1. No of apps download by consumer
2. DAU/MAU/WAU
3. Retention %
4. Revenue Earned $
5. No of celebs onboarded on the platform
