Apple TV+ is a subscription-based streaming service offered by Apple. It features original shows, movies, documentaries, and kids' content. Think of it as Apple's answer to Netflix or Disney+. 

 

Let us talk about some assumptions. In an actual interview setup, these would become clarifying questions

1. Are we looking at a certain region or a global level? We ask these questions because in the US, it is a known brand but in regions like India it is still unknown.

2. Currently, for its competitors like Netflix, Disney+, or HBO the biggest problem that Apple TV+ has is the lesser user base, shall we concentrate on user acquisition as the top goal for the yearly roadmap?

3. We will not talk about the actual content but the streaming platform. This is assuming Apple is already working on creating great content and partnering with other services to bring good content. 

4. We will try and acquire the existing Apple users of iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV rather than completely new users because that is a lower-hanging fruit, and providing an Apple ecosystem is beneficial to all

You missed out points by not focusing on content -- this is important strategically as competitors are major film studios and pure streaming partners like netflix, apple is different as Apple TV is not its sole revenue source and so differentiation can be achieved by investing budget on curated shows rather than spreading budget across multiple shows like competitors do so as to stay afloat in market. Hence apple can like create luxury premium TV experience by high production values in select single digit shows which is not at all possible by competitors due to above reason

 

THis is important becaiuse this aligns with Apple's strategy of porviding premium experiencs to its customers.

Besides that with advent of new tech, apple can like focus only on delivering in highest quality like 4k or above so as to keep the premium feel

It can acquire rights to sports and news, which are the key segments that are keeping traditional tv alive and deliver in highest quality so that completeness can be achieved
