Some clarifying Questions

  • When you  say visually impared passengers do you mean they are completely blind or partially blind
    • Completely - Blind - Cannot see anything
    • Partially Blind - Can see things , but faces issues to either read or needs glasses to view things
Answer - Completely Blind

  • When you say users are blind i am guessing they can hear, smell, talk and all other senses are working absolutely fine ?
    • Yes - answer
  • Geo - Will be focusing india ? Answer - Yes
  • No constraints to the prroject - Yes no constraints

Let me think through this for a minute

The way i am going to structure this problem is basis Mission, Type of users, Pain points, Solutions, sucess metric

does this structure sound ok - Yes it does

Mission - To make Commute/Travel memmorable for Blind people

Type of users

  1. Solo Traveller
  2. Group Traveller
  3. Support/Dependecy  - Son/Daughter /Driver
Group Traveller+ Support
Type of UserReachImpact
High Frequency - TravellerML
Mid Frequency - TravellerMM
Low Frequency - TravellerSS
Dependant/Support (plays a pivotal role in whole joruney for any sort of support that is required - Mandatory for us to pick as part of user type along with any one of the aboveLL

So based on above cirteria though high frequency users reach is limited but impact would be high. We will focus on basically also having a support person/dependant along with to build the expeirence. Once we are able to design a expeience to high frequency users we can extend it to mid frequency

Pain Points
Pain PointsSizeDepth
Cannot view how the whole scenic experience/nature/moutains actually look likeLL
Creates Frustatuation and lonliness LL
they cannot share it with family or grand kids MM

Will pick point 1 viewing and 2 frutation based on parameters and work to solve for it with a solution

SolutionsReachImpactSizeEffort
Switch mode(AI based Voice Assistant)  - To move to Scenic mode in the car (Driver+Dependant)
(Use voice commands to inform the blind person/users that we are now entering a scenic mode for next 5 kms as we are traveling to Ooty via Madumalai forest so i will be sharing all the experiences along with way

- Describe how they look like About animals/birds/Mountains/Grass
LLLL
Sol 2 - Design a Voice catcher which esentialy captures the sound of the breeze, animals, birds along (Make them hear the sound of the scenic natureLLLL
3D theatres - Make users actually experience rains (through rain drop) - Have a small droplets fall in to the face of the blind person to actaully feel how the rain is

Fume nossel make him smell how does wet mud actaully smell post rain
LLLL
Asking questions to AI assitant to describe about the history of forest/what is the mountain shape look like etc

Make the whole experience interactive
LLLM

I would focus on Point no 1, 2 and 4 as part of the MVP

Sucess metric

  1. Number of Blind users travelled through this car and how many rated it
    1. 100 - 5+
    2. 60- 4+
  2. Total cars 500 >100 Rated>20 = 20/100 = 20 % sucess rate (North star)
