What is lyft?
Its a ride sharing app that connet drivers with riders. It has 2 apps driver side and customer side.
Assumption here is that this dashboard is focussed on the more regular/full time Lyft drivers and the goal is to give them insights/feedback as to how to work better - more efficiently and make more money
Why dashboard exists is the hypothesis if the drivers make more money more driver will for lyft more often.
Metrics around dashboard succes
- Discovery what % of drivers actually open dashboard
- what % actually engage in a meaningful way
- What % came back to view the dashboards again
- What is the impact - do the dashboard users show an increase in retention on lyft platform (pre-post comparison and also compared to similar driver income cohorts )
How would I measure the success of the dashboard
Since the end goal is retention I would measure the success basis retention metrics of the dashboard users - if that works out I can optimise top of the funnel/other parts of the funnel
